Packaging

Packaging might not be the first thing you think about when starting a tee brand, but it was something we consciously decided could be a point of differentiation. Everyone’s received a generic brown envelope in the mail, with a tee folded in a generic way and wrapped in generic plastic. We wanted to do something slightly different, and we’re interested in what you think…

I think it’s great. Looks really cool and suiting.
Is the envelope just plain black paper or is it plastic?

hey karl – thanks for your comment and really glad you like our packaging. the envelope is black paper with bubble wrap inside. its not as shiny as plastic, and as a result feels a bit more premium IMHO

Its great that there’s emphasis on details like these but lots of other labels out there have already ventured into this field. IMO i think there could be a touch of something more personal, such as maybe addressing the consumer by his/her name and such. A level that most $ hungry labels do not possess.

alvin, thanks for your comment – but actually that’s exactly what we do… every receipt of purchase comes individually addressed by first name, not by hand but in print. it’s a little thankyou that we like to think isn’t the norm and thus makes you feel a bit more special.

Got something to add?
