emptees (batch.02)

We’ve got the batch.02 shirts up on emptees, where we’re getting a lot of love for the site but not so much for the shirts. My personal opinion is that its because we’re consicously diverting from the ‘threadless aesthetic’ so prevalent on user-gen sites like this.
So good people, I’m asking you to do us a favour and head on over and give the shirts some love. Even better, get involved in the comments on each shirt. Nice one.

hey guys, I couldn’t agree more on your theory. Take heart - avoiding the “threadless aesthetic” might appear to be hurting your sales, but it makes the success you’ve had up to this point all the more legit.
Keep up the quality work!!!

Uh, do ya’ think it has anything to do with the $50.00 price tag?

we’re based in London so our costs are in Pounds which unfortunately means we have to charge in Pounds… although our shirts are not expensive here, when you throw global currency markets into the mix its not that good for you guys on the other side of the pond. but there’s not much we can do about that unfortunately…

Yea, the dollar/pound exchange rate is painful for us in the states. I’ve been drooling over the Miniluv tee for a long time, but can’t justify $50 on a tee, no matter how cool it is.
Great work though!

@bilko
Man up chief!
When you have a chick on each metacarpal due to “sick threads” a fiddy is going to make the $$ you spend on those daily mocha-frappa-lattinis look like lire (if they still existed).

Nice collection - would love the Corto’s Crash Tee. As a 6′4″, 18 stoner, am concerned that “L” won’t cut it for me - they never do.. Do you not have XL (or even XXLs!)?

hey richard, we don’t usually print XL (let alone XXL) but you’re not the first to ask. next time we go to print we could potentially do one up just for you? let me know…

Received my Frenemies shirt, fits like a second skin. Totally blown away. Zoltan, you rock and I’m glad that, even though it was only for three weeks, I came to work with you at de-construct.
Hope to catch you on the 18th.
Thanks for the shirt, it’s the bizz.
purplesimon out…

Ordered a “Babylon Rocker” t-shirt this week. LOVE the Nueromancer theme, personally I think it was a great idea and I love the fact I will probably never see anyone else in person with one =] (Although I guess that’s not good on your sales). Coolest book ever + coolest spaceship ever = coolest t-shirt ever. Keep up the good work!

Woop - my Corto T arrived today - nice fast dispatch guys. T shirt fits great and looks great. Can’t wait to go into work on Monday where I know plenty of people will appreciate the quote. Eying up that Babylon Rocker T now.. looking forward to the next batch of stuff you guys come up with!

Love your designs. But why oh why must the miniluv hoodie be sold out? With it i’d be the awe of the neighbourhood. Without it I’m just another 30-something geek who’s just barely hanging on to reality.
Will there be more miniluv for the hooded? Or am I out of luck?
