If you can get past the annoying totally-out-of-place teenage girl narrator, then this Ritalin fuelled version of Lovecraft’s mesmerising The Call of Cthulhu should be fairly entertaining. But if not, we reckon our Strange Aeons tee does a much better job and without all those teenage ‘likes’… via The Awesomer

The Book Cover Archive is awesome

Instead of convincing you to buy a book, we’re in the business of helping you to start conversations based on books and ideas that you’re already invested in… You could also say we’re the small-talk short circuit you’ve always been looking for :) Either way, seeing as though we’re on topic, what’s your favourite book cover?

Lovecraft, 1931 Lovecraft was a strange man, being both a racist as well as terrified of seafood. An unlikely combination of [...]

The inside means as much as the outside

A few reports have trickled in recently that some buy our shirts unaware of the story behind each design. Although this is not a problem per se, we pride ourselves on the literary angle behind each design and thought it a shame that some of you may have been missing the best part of your [...]

Guilty Secrets

Great read over on the Guardian about the books we (collectively) most lie about reading. And guess what, Orwell’s 1984 comes top of the list! “Asked if they had ever claimed to read a book when they had not, 65% of respondents said yes and 42% said they had falsely claimed to have read Orwell’s [...]
